Korosh Ghazimorad  🇮🇷

Korosh Ghazimorad, born on September 16, 1969, in Tehran, Iran, is a distinguished calligrapher, graphic designer, and the developer of the Sarir calligraphy style. With a deep commitment to both traditional Persian art and modern design principles, he has made significant contributions to the world of graphic design and calligraphy. He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Iranian Graphic Designers’ Association, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), the Painters Association of Iran, and the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).

Korosh’s artistic journey is marked by numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide. His solo exhibitions include “Science of Nescience” at Sohrab Gallery in Tehran in 2019, “White Reverie” at Art Gallery 14 in Tehran in 2017, and “Dance of the Pen” at Artlab in Beirut in 2015, among many others. His work has also been showcased in prominent group exhibitions, such as “Three Thousands and Thousands of Writing, Four Thousands and Thousands of Reading” at Vard Gallery in Tehran in 2019 and “Tolerance of Line” at Negah Gallery in Tehran in the same year.

As a member of the board of directors of the Iranian Graphic Designers’ Association from 2013 to 2016, Korosh’s influence extends beyond his artistic practice into the broader design community. His involvement in various global design and calligraphy initiatives has earned him recognition as one of the leading figures in Persian visual arts.

In recent years, Korosh has expanded his focus into the realm of digital art, utilizing advanced technology and AI to explore the fusion of tradition and modernity. His latest project involves creating immersive digital art exhibitions that explore themes of identity, heritage, and the interplay between technology and traditional art forms. Through this innovative approach, Korosh continues to inspire both the art world and his growing audience.
