Jordan Petkov Art Foundation

The Jordan Petkov Art Foundation was established in June 2022 in Varna by Neli Valcheva to honor the memory of her late husband, Jordan Petkov. Its governing bodies include the Board of Directors and the Director.

The Foundation’s mission is to promote public benefit activities in the realms of universal cultural and spiritual values, civil society, and education.

Organizationally, administratively, and financially, the Foundation collaborates with Largo Gallery on numerous charitable and socially impactful initiatives. Since 2024, IGDN has proudly partnered with the Foundation, strengthening its capacity to achieve its goals.

The main objectives of the Foundation include:

• Supporting and developing diverse art forms, including visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, film, architecture, and digital arts.
• Promoting Bulgarian culture and art internationally.
• Facilitating cultural and educational connections between Bulgarian and international artists through creative exchanges and collaborative projects.
• Encouraging the free exchange of information and ideas in arts and culture both locally and globally.
• Initiating and supporting efforts to preserve cultural and historical heritage.
• Promoting cultural inclusion, socialization, and the development of art activities for children, youth, minority communities, and those at risk of social isolation.
• Upholding the vision of its patron, Jordan Petkov, by actively working to benefit society and foster the growth of art.
