Design Contest for the “Top Iranian Companies Trophy

The Industrial Management Organization (IMO) is organizing a design contest for the trophy of the Top Iranian Companies ranking (IMI-100). This initiative, in collaboration with the Graphic Designers Network of Iran, invites all visual artists and enthusiasts to submit their design proposals for this prestigious event.

Contest Details: Designs must incorporate the following mandatory elements:

  • Top 100 Iranian Companies – IMI-100

Notes:

  1. It is highly recommended to include the IMI-100 logo and the Industrial Management Organization’s logo in the design.
  2. Since this ranking will be held annually, incorporating a section that indicates the “Year of Ranking” is important.
  3. The design should be adaptable for both color and black-and-white printing.
  4. The trophy design should reflect enduring dynamism, symbolizing the goals and activities of IMI-100 over time.
  5. Submitted designs must be original, free of any copying or similarities with existing designs, either domestic or international.
  6. Participants should keep in mind the global and international aspect of this contest.
  7. Avoid using multiple conflicting ideas in a single design; instead, submit separate designs for each concept or idea.
  8. The selected trophy design will become an exclusive asset of the Industrial Management Organization, meaning they have the right to adapt and use it at any time.

Submission Requirements:

  • The design should have a well-balanced appearance from all four sides.
  • Designs must be submitted as a graphic symbol.
  • The design must be suitable for both 2D and 3D production (sculpting).
  • The design should be created in color, with the ability to be converted to a single color.
  • Participants may submit up to three designs.
  • Designers retain all rights to their works, but the organization must not use the designs without permission.
  • Submissions must include 3D modeling files of the trophy, a brief introduction about the artist, contact information, and explanations about the design and execution.
  • The submission must be in 300 DPI resolution, in RGB color mode, and include both color and black-and-white versions.
  • After the winning design is selected, the main files should be submitted on a CD with complete design details and artist information.

Important Reminder: All submissions must be sent to the email provided at the end of this announcement. Entries sent through any other means will not be considered.

Judging Panel:

  • Mr. Mohammad Reza Qeyoub (Professor at the University of Applied Sciences)
  • Mr. Pouya Golestaneh (Founder of the Iranian Graphic Designers Network)
  • Mr. Majid Alavizadeh (Admin of Majid Online)
  • Mr. Arash Soltanali (CEO of Ideh School Institute)
  • Three representatives from the Industrial Management Organization

Awards:

  • The winner will receive a certificate of appreciation and five Seke Bahar Azadi coins.
  • Two runners-up will receive certificates of appreciation and one-quarter Seke Bahar Azadi coin each.

Timeline:

  • Deadline for submissions: By the end of the business day, January 15, 2012.
  • Initial selection: January 17, 2012.
  • Announcement of results: January 18, 2012.
